FTI’s world-class Engineering & Analysis Group, principally
located in the metropolitan Washington, D.C area, is led by Vice
President Ed Crowder and consists of two divisions, each focused
on related, but distinct business areas. The E&A Group provides
services and products based on innovative, leading-edge aerospace
engineering, operations analysis/research and computer modeling
technologies to government and industry clients to solve their most
difficult and important operational problems. It is the Group’s
preference to tackle client problems that others have attempted
but failed to solve or that are viewed by the client as intractable.
Studies & Analyses Division
The Studies & Analyses Division is led by Division Manager
Mike Larkin. It’s principal business area is designing and
conducting formal studies and analyses of client decision problems
using the most advanced and valid quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
Where appropriate methodologies or analytical models do not exist,
the Division develops them for its clients. Currently most of the
Division’s work is done at the client-site, but FTI-site support
for its clients is always available as well.
Modeling, Simulation & Tools Division
The Modeling, Simulation & Tools Division is led by Mike Hubbell.
It’s business area consists of designing, developing, implementing
and supporting advanced turn-key engineering solutions and related
technologies for its clients’ most difficult operational problems
as well as designing, developing, implementing and supporting advanced
computer-based models for government or industry operations.
