Dr. Thomas L. Murdock has over the last twenty five years assumed increasingly responsible positions involving the development of IR science and technology, and the processes utilized in data collection, calibration, reduction, analysis and modeling of geophysical data and in the application of this knowledge to space systems design and operation. He is responsible for the certification of the scientific accuracy and precision of the BMDO MSX database, which is applicable to all future space-based surveillance systems. He is leading efforts to define the requirements for the calibration sources needed for future civilian and DoD systems. He has hands-on experience in design, fabrication, testing, calibration, data analysis from space based and ground based optical (UV-VIS-IR) hyperspectral sensing systems. |
