FTI Attended Reconstruction and Stabilization Conference: February
FTI employees attended the 6th Annual Reconstruction, Stabilization and Security Conference, which addressed "Current Events and the Role that Funding and Contractors Play." Februray 8-10, 2011 at The National Conference Center, Leesburg, VA , USA. FTI's work on several Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contracts involving R&S give us a unique perspective on this topic.

FTI Attended D & I Total Ownership Cost Program

FTI employees attended the D & I Total Ownership Cost Program in Arlington, VA. This Discovery and Invention (D&I) program for Navy acquisition program managers and policy makers is designed to increase their fundamental understanding of the risks and uncertainties underlying the Total Ownership Cost (TOC) decision trade space.
FTI Attended CALCON Technical Conference, on Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing
FTI employees attended The Annual Conference on Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing , held on the Utah State University campus, Logan, Utah from August 23-26, 2010. Visit them at Booth #1. The conference website states that the conference "provides a forum for scientists, engineers, and managers to present, discuss, and learn. Experts in the calibration community offer relevant knowledge and suggestions about calibration, characterization, and radiometric issues within the microwave, IR, visible, and UV spectrums. Individuals developing measurement requirements for today and future sensor systems are encouraged to participate and help close the gap between expectations and real world experiences."

FTI Attended the 5th Annual Reconstruction and Stabilization Conference
FTI attended the 5th Annual Reconstruction & Stabilization Conference, held in Falls Church, VA from February 9 - 11, 2010. The conference website promises that "This year the marcus evans 5th Annual Reconstruction and Stabilization conference will bring together all stakeholders in reconstruction and stabilization operations. Focus will be placed on achieving military and civilian coordination as the US government shifts its focus to civilian resources. Join this event as policies and doctrines are converted into procedures and lessons learned become lessons applied. Have the opportunity to discuss success stories around the world."
FTI has been involved in reconstruction and stabilization since January of 2008 with its work on OSD07-CR4 Phase I Measuring Progress in Conflict Environments (MPICE) Phase I and Phase II SBIR contracts. FTI exhibited at PHM-09, the 2009 PHM Society Conference, held in San Diego from September 27 to October 1, 2009. PHM-09 brought together the global community of PHM experts from industry, academia, and government in diverse application areas such as energy, aerospace, transportation, automotive, and industrial automation. The conference featured keynote presentations by senior leaders in the field, panel discussions, a dedicated session on fielded systems, and a full day of tutorials free to all registrants. FTI Presented and Exhibited at the Navy Opportunity Forum 2009
FTI presented information on its Prognostic Health Management technology at the Navy Opportunity Forum in Crystal City, VA.
