Systems Engineer

Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for DoD Command and Control (C2) systems and Air Operations Centers (AOCs)

Support analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

 Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints for C2 and AOC systems

 Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements analysis and decompositions, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

 Support development, sustainment and modernization efforts associated with DoD C2 and AOC systems

 Support Cost as an Independent Variable (ICAIV) analysis across multiple C2 and AOC sites

Support definition and implementation of risk assessment and mitigation process

Travel to other locations as required in support of assigned tasks

7 to 9 years of professional experience

Experience analyzing objectives and thresholds and allocating them down to subsystem and component levels

Requirements management tool experience, such as DOORS or Rationale Rose, a plus

Experience with DoD C2 and AOC system development and sustainment desirable

Considered an emerging authority, with strong analysis experience

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

US citizenship with ability to obtain a government security clearance
