Software Engineer |
| Duties |
Perform Java software engineering tasks in a small team environment to develop automated tools for scenario generation, simulation, and post processing analysis.
Major Job Functions/Activities:
Some specific activities necessary for the tasks include, but are not limited to, requirements analysis, modeling, design, code and unit test. Background in re-engineering, communication message simulation, and legacy languages a plus |
| Education |
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related |
| Experience |
At least one year of full-time Java development experience is preferable in addition to other experience using any procedural language with Object Oriented constructs and strong typing such as C++ or C#. |
| Qualifications |
· Java SW development experience, UML
· Applicable knowledge of UML class and sequence diagrams.
· Ablility to follow detailed project directions while remaining self motivated to complete defined tasks independently
· Awareness of industry best practices
· Experience with configuration management/source code control systems
· Java certification a plus, along with experience with Eclipse and Java Swing.
· Must be able to pass Java interview questions
Security Requirements:
Minimum: Must be US Citizen; must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, may be required to obtain an interim clearance within 6 months of document submittal
