| Duties |
- Formulate new algorithms to solve scientific analysis problems
- Develop software implementations of analysis algorithms (algorithms may include features such as FFT, PCA, Monte Carlo, or other complex mathematical operations)
- Program algorithms and auxiliary code for standalone and integrated data analysis tools
- Travel to customer sites 25-50% of time to support software and data analysis

| Education |
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline required; MS or PhD preferred
|
| Experience |
- Minimum of 4 years related experience
|
| Qualifications |
- Experience analyzing complex data sets
- Intermediate to advanced scientific programming skills in C/C++ and software design
- Technical experience working with electro-optical infrared systems
- Programming experience in one or more of the following is desired: .NET, SQL, XML, MATLAB, and IDL
- Graduate-level foundation in mathematics and one of the physical sciences, with an understanding of statistics
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
- Ability to work both independently and together with other scientists in the company
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
