Project Manager/Analyst |
| Duties |
Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, lead FTI team to meet program requirements, and develop related future opportunities
- Establish, manage, and meet project cost, schedule, and performance milestones
- Develop briefings, literature, and demonstrations to show how existing FTI tools and methods can solve new customer challenges
- Plan and oversee economic analyses, business case analyses, and ROI assessments
- Identify risk items that may prevent system from meeting performance objectives or achieving user acceptance
- Interface with government and other contractor personnel to discuss project technical, cost, and schedule issues
- Prepare and conduct presentations and project reports to team members, management, and customers
Analysis Responsibilities
- Support life cycle reviews, including system requirements reviews, systems design reviews, preliminary design reviews, etc
- Plan and oversee efforts to support Analysis of Alternative (AoA) efforts
- Provide recommendations on development of technical and operational procedures
- Determine technical objectives and top level project requirements necessary to satisfy customer requirements, deliverables, and expectations for sustainment and modernization projects
- Perform requirements analysis and development for DoD applications, to include verification of completeness and correctness, traceability to government source documents, identification of verification methodology, requirements allocation to subsystems and components, and identification of impacts to applications
- Support risk assessments associated with implementation of new technology
- Develop and present briefings for management and government personnel describing complex issues and suggested solutions
- Provide input to detailed test plans and other test evaluation documents
- Prepare and present technical reports on research at customer design reviews and professional technical symposiums
- Conduct RTOC analyses to produce Business Case Analysis submission documents
- Become company expert in set-up and use of FTI tools, especially ICE and I-CAIV
Business Development Responsibilities
- Assist in developing business plans to articulate strategy to adapt tools and processes to multiple DoD customers
- Support business development activities by:
- Preparing briefings and solution examples that show how FTI can apply existing software tools and processes to meet similar needs
- Creating opportunities for new business through normal engineering interactions with customers by identifying issues/problems for which FTI can provide solutions
- Support business development pipeline associated with maturing opportunities, from concepts to proposal generation
- Support the preparation of proposals for SBIRs and other opportunities
- Make calls/visits to potential customers to determine their needs

| Education |
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research or a related technical field
|
| Experience |
- Minimum of twelve years experience – may be a combination of managing technical DoD projects and/or systems analysis of DoD programs
- Experience conducting life cycle reviews
- Experience conducting various analyses (e.g., requirements, systems performance, trade studies, business case, etc.)
- Experience using MS Office, Requirements Analysis Tools, Risk Tools, and Logistics Tools
- Business development experience in some combination of prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and proposal development
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance
