Reconstruction & Stabilization Project Manager/Analyst |
| Duties |
Reconstruction/Stabilization Responsibilities
- Guide development of FTI R/S planning and analysis tools
- Support clarification of R/S tool requirements based on communication with primary customers and stakeholders, and communicate those requirements to FTI development team
- Coordinate R/S software development and demonstration schedules with FTI development team
- Identify prospects with R/S challenges similar to current customers, and mature support strategies to meet those challenges
- Facilitate R/S focus group meetings with candidate organizations that could benefit from FTI R/S infrastructure
Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, lead FTI team to meet program requirements, and develop related future opportunities

Manage product development staff to include software development activity, configuration control, enhancement planning, and marketing efforts
- Establish, manage, and meet project cost, schedule, and performance milestones
- Develop briefings, literature, and demonstrations to show how existing FTI tools and methods can solve new customer challenges
- Identify risk items that may prevent system from meeting performance objectives or achieving user acceptance
- Interface with government and other contractor personnel to discuss project technical, cost, and schedule issues
- Prepare and conduct presentations and project reports for team members, management, and customers
Business Development Responsibilities
- Lead development of FTI Reconstruction & Stabilization (R/S) business plans to articulate strategy to adapt tools and processes to multiple customers

Mature business plans by developing decision aid discriminators, identifying market segment needs, and defining implementation strategies

Maintain close interface with customer technical organizations to ensure future decision

Support business development activities by:
- Preparing briefings and solution examples that show how FTI can apply existing software tools and processes to meet business needs
- Creating opportunities for new business through normal interactions with customers by identifying issues/problems for which FTI can provide solutions
- Support business development pipeline associated with maturing opportunities, from concepts to proposal generation
- Support preparation of proposals for SBIRs and other opportunities
- Call/visit potential customers to determine their needs and where FTI solutions might be applicable

| Experience |
- Minimum often years hands-on experience
- Experience monitoring progress associated with R/S efforts to include measures of effectiveness and measures of performance associated with actual activities on the ground
|
| Qualifications |
- Knowledge of relevant doctrine and planning assessment tools including JFCOM J7 Pamphlet, Army Field Manual 3-24 Counter Insurgency, Army Field Manual 3-07 Stability Operations & Support, and other related documentation
- Knowledge of joint civilian-military processes and familiarity with the Interagency Conflict assessment Framework (ICAF) and other related assessment tools
- Familiarity with Measuring Progress in Conflict Environments (MPICE) framework and other social science methodologies
- Strong program management experience with relevant certification (e.g., PMP)
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in a team environment, managing military and commercial customer relations
- Established relationships and reputation in DoD and interagency environment

Proven track record initiating new business opportunities and increasing revenue

Experience managing DoD analysis activities

U. S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
