Software Engineer/Programmer

Duties	Develop software which implements prognostic algorithms and systems for monitoring the performance, health, usage and remaining life of complex systems or vehicles Apply software skills to create and enhance modules for data acquisition, data analysis and data reporting as part of Frontier Technology's NormNet® Prognostic Health Management (PHM) technology Participate in the evaluation, deployment and support of PHM systems in customer environments
Education	Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science required; advanced degree preferred
Experience	At least 5 years of related experience 3 to 5 years of experience developing windows or web applications with .NET language (C# and/or VB.NET) and unmanaged C/C++ At least 2 years of experience designing databases and generating SQL queries with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL Experience with WPF and Silverlight desired
Qualifications	Superior problem solving skills with a strong desire to learn new technologies within the software development field Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively in a team environment and interact with customers and prospects at a technical level US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
