Senior Cost Analyst

 
Duties
  • Develop and update Excel-based LCC model which meets customer and proposal requirements; export cost results, including ground rules, assumptions, and cost-model inputs, to Excel-based LCC model
  • Work across IPTs to collect data necessary to generate LCC estimates for different design approaches and solutions
  • Support LCC estimates using FTI’s Integrated Cost Estimation (ICE®) tool, establish appropriate cost targets for each phase of product life cycle, and track progress toward meeting those targets
  • Develop Business Case Analysis and Return on Investment documentation to support cost reduction initiatives
  • Support cost risk assessment for Research and Development, Production and Operations, and Sustainment phases of LCC estimates
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Experience conducting CAIV and LCC analyses on Navy or similar programs
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated technical cost analysis and estimation skills on large DoD programs
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule tasks among a distributed team necessary to create LCC analysis products
  • Knowledge of DoD accepted cost models, including SEER, PRICE, and COCOMO
  • Familiarity with standard DoD analysis and project management principles
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to work effectively in teams
  • US citizenship with ability to obtain a government security clearance
