Product Life Cycle

FTI provides sustainment and integration capabilities, within the Federal Government, utilizing decision support and analysis tools, developed through the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. These capabilities provide solutions to generate quick turn Life Cycle Cost (LCC) insight, that can be used to optimize the return on investment (ROI) associated with different investment options. FTI provids government customers with Affordability Assessment tools, and Engineering tools, to help balance performance requirements, and costs, to design affordable programs.  This includes both startups, and modifications to existing systems.

FTI focuses on providing support for early System Engineering activities, from establishing requirements through measure of effectiveness (MOE), requirements analysis support, analysis of alternatives (AoA) results integration, risk analysis, and application and development of support tools for acquisition decisions. The primary tool used in this, is the Integrated-Cost As an Independent Variable. (I-CAIV™) toolset.
