FTI completed its Step Challenge for Alzheimer’s, surpassing the initial fundraising goal of $120,000 with a remarkable total of $130,770! Alzheimer’s disease affects millions of individuals worldwide, with nearly 6 million people diagnosed in the United States alone and over 55 million worldwide.
In our fourth year partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association, FTI employees rallied together to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association through a step and fitness challenge. Throughout June, FTI employees walked nearly nine million steps, equivalent to covering more than 4,000 miles. FTI CEO shared his personal connection with Alzheimer’s via LinkedIn.
The funds raised through this initiative will play a crucial role in accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection strategies, and maximizing the quality of care and support provided to those living with Alzheimer’s.
