We are excited to highlight Mikail Khan, FTI’s Beverly Summer Intern, for all his hard work throughout his internship with FTI. Mikail is from Fairfax, Virginia, and is a sophomore at Purdue University, studying computer science. At school, Mikail is involved in an undergraduate research team that is designing a self-driving racecar by utilizing an algorithm to control the vehicle. After college, Mikail plans to follow a career path that involves open sourcing and educational software. In his spare time, he enjoys skateboarding, playing video games, and reading.
Throughout his internship, Mikail has gained experience working with Django web framework, SVN, and performing daily tasks within the professional environment. Mikail’s favorite aspect of his internship has been absorbing information about computer science from his coworkers. He especially appreciates their guidance in helping him understand the new technologies utilized at FTI. Mikail is looking forward to continuing to contribute useful solutions and ideas to his team and extending his knowledge of coding in a professional environment.
