Michael Scanlon

Michael Scanlon, our Business Operations Vice President for Customer Execution, is based in the Crystal City, VA area, and joined FTI with over 27 years of industry experience. Throughout his career, Mike has held a number of roles in program management, data analysis, and technology development that have shaped his experience as a forward-thinking leader.  Mike graduated with a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin, as well as obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.  His leadership skills and proven management style have been seen throughout his successful career working in various DoD sectors.

Formerly from Jacobs, Mike served progressively for 18 years, evolving into roles such as Vice President and General Manager, providing servant leadership to over 750 employees and leading multiple business development initiatives, that delivered sizeable operational growth for the company. Mike’s astute and inspirational strategic outlook allows him to connect with his employees and while nurturing a robust tie with the end user.  His skills in assigning resources and representing the company values, while building rewarding customer relationships through transparency, trust, and exceeding expectations.
